The province of Tarragona is in the south of Catalonia, on the Mediterranean coast. In the north you'll find soft endless beaches, while to the south near the Montsià massif, there are craggy cliffs.
Farther inland there are lots of things visitors should not miss out on, such as the Archeological Museum (Catalonia's oldest in its specialty), the Pont de les Ferreres Aqueduct, the Puente del Diablo bridge that dates back to the 1st century and the Delta de L'Ebre Natural Park.
And last but not least, one of the best religious architectural structures in Catalonia, and a World Heritage site as well, is the Poblet monastery.
