Founded in 1920 and totally renovated in March 2002, the hotel provides full comfort at a reasonable price. Located at the very heart of the city's commercial, financial and business area, the hotel is an ideal starting point for short walks to many of Bilbao's most interesting sites. Surrounded by museums, bars, restaurants, shops, party rooms, cinemas and theaters, Begoña is a good choice if you are visiting Bilbao for business reasons or just for leisure. At our reception desk you will always find someone willing to help you: we do care for our guests. Car rental facilities. Internet and fax service , laundry and dry cleaning service upon request. Pets are welcome in our hotel, you are only asked to take care of them.

  • Positive: Lovely comfortable place, though very simple. Comfortable room, nice comfortable lobby for hanging out, with couches. Awesome book collection and nice art. The owner (formerly ran a bookstore for 25 years) was charming and very interesting to talk to (though the other fellow who sometimes staffed the front desk was less charming...). Excellent location just across the bridge from the old city. Tram stop directly across the street (but can't buy ticket at that one....need to walk to Arriaga in old city if you don't already have ticket.)

    "Siempre aceptamos los comentarios de nuestros clientes y aprendemos de ellos, tratando de mejorar. Sin embargo nos cuesta trabajo aceptar lo que no somos capaces de comprender. Esta cliente colocó el cartel de NO MOLESTAR NI HACER LA HABITACIÓN durante toda su estancia. No es posible entender que ponga una nota tan baja a nuestro servicio de limpieza cuando no ha permitido que entren en su habitación. Tal vez sea el momento de reflexionar sobre las puntuaciones."
