The Mimic Hotel is a different experience. Luminosity and originality combined with a modern and cosy decor. New Hotel opened in July 2010. Cromotherapy: The colour and the intensity of the lights in your room can change according to your taste. Innovative and Unique Concept: Bathing area next to great exterior windows. Next to Las Ramblas and the Port of Barcelona, with unbeatable communications. The Hotel Acta Mimic is a hotel of 92 rooms located in the Ciutat Vella of Barcelona, in the old Teatro Colon, next to Las Ramblas, the Port of Barcelona and the Avenida Paral.lel theaters. Its innovative design and modern facilities spread over 5 floors for bedrooms, another plant of 600 m2 that houses the restaurant with courtyard garden and sitting area. The hotel has 15 parking spaces with direct access from the hotel elevator and a terrace on the top floor where you can relax with spectacular views of the port of Barcelona, monument to Columbus and the mountain of Tibidabo. In the rooms of the innovative Hotel Acta Mimic, join the relax and bathing area in a single space, avoiding the division of the room in classic compartments. The shower is located on the facade, giving the room a lot more light and space than usual, making this moment of relaxation with natural light a unique experience. To differentiate the resting spaces with the showers we use curtains, which give the space a greater flexibility of use.

  • Positive: Das Hotel war angemehm dicht am Hafen, ich konnte zu Fuß zur MB92 Werft gehen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
  • Negative: Die Sauberkeit. Das Zimmer war schlecht geputzt, an der Dusche waren Schimmelflecken. Vor dem Hotel wurde gerne an die Wand uriniert -> Geruch!!! Schön wäre auch ein Tisch im Zimmer gewesen, um in Ruhe am laptop arbeiten zu können.

  • Cleanliness: Not rated Schimmel in der Dusche, Fleckige Bettwäsche, Klimaanlage immer auf komplett eisig runtergdreht, wenn ich abends kam, bis die Bude wieder normal temperiert war (min 18°C) dauerte es ewig)
  • Location: 5 Nähe zum Hafen, Nähe zu Flaniermeile La Ramblas, Nähe zu MB92, aber leider in einer ziemlich stinkenden Gasse gelegen, urinieren an die Hauswand war scheinbar normal
  • Common facilities and services: 5 Frühstück war lecker, aber leider waren die eigentlich warmen Dinge wie Rührei kalt, da nicht in Warmhaltebehältern am Buffet
  • Staff: 5 freundliches Personal war OK
  • Quietness: 5 recht hellhöriges Hotel, man bekommt den ehestreit der Zimmernachbarn in allen Tonlagen mit
  • Room: 2.5 Schimmel in der Dusche, Fenster durch betonwand verbaut (dabei wirbt das Hotel mit großen Glasfassaden), leider kein Schreibtisch, sehr wenig Ablagefläche, in der Toilette kam die Tapete von der Wand
  • Value for money: 2.5 Nein, das Hotel ist recht teuer, dafür hätte es wenigstens sauber sein können
