• Staff: 2.5 I specifically requested an upper level room with a walk-in-shower and was given neither without explanation or apology. I booked months ago.when we complained about the noises, the receptionist said she would have someone look into it. We were left with the impression that this complaint was so common she was inured to it. The cleaning staff and breakfast staff were delightful.
• Quietness: Not rated There were horrible plumbing noises throughout the day and night. We could clearly hear people in the room upstairs and in the corridor. The outside noises were nit a problem due to double glazing
• Room: 5 Good size, comfortable bed and two armchairs, odd layout and dark
• Value for money: Not rated The room we were in should never be let until the plumbing is corrected and soundproofing installed between floors
