• Location: 10 Well-located for most major attractions in central Madrid and within easy walking distance of 3 Metro stations.

• Staff: 10 Staff were invariably friendly and helpful.
• Quietness: 7.5 No outside noise. Occasionally some noise in the mornings, but not bad. Generally quiet.
• Room: 10 We had a large, well-equipped room. The room had no external view, but looked onto an internal light well. Other than not being able to tell at a glance what the weather was like, this was not a problem for us. The bathroom was also large with plentiful supply of toiletries. The free minibar with beer and soft drinks, replenished daily, was a very nice touch.
• Value for money: 10
