• Negative: prices for everything was rediculus. couldn,t have a glass of house wine at 10 euros a hamburger x chips at 18 euros had to go out every morning for breakfast. no kettle in rooms, to make a coffee

• Location: 5 we found ourselves walking from the hotel down towards the harbour/ the ramblas which took about 15 mins. but there are closer hotels
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 would have appreciated tea coffee making facilitys in the room for convenice either last thing at night or first thing in morning
• Staff: 10
• Quietness: 10 as long as you dont need to sleep with the window open, as you are beside a major road
• Room: 5 they give us the smallest room at the front when i complained after the first night because we wanted a room with a view. at 150 euros a night and a christmas present to my wife, i thought i was getting something special.
• Value for money: Not rated no different to any 3 star, apart from coming to turn down the bed around 6.30 and leave a couple of sweets on the pillow. whoopi doo. it was january so couldn%27t use rooftop pool. too small anyway. i would suggest a 3-4 star where you probally would get the same service and be able to afford breakfast. after all, you use the hotel for sleeping, once you leave in the morning, you dont return till 12-1am

• Quietness: 2.5 in room 234 my wife and I experienced heavy traffic noise on Friday and Saturday mornings from very early in the morning...a lie in was wanted but wasn%27t available due to the noise
• Room: 5 I booked a superior double room, obviously paying more for it...I have stayed in dozens of hotels worldwide, on business an pleasure, where the word superior actually meant superior. The room was standard in my view. I had also booked a double room and was given a twin...not good news for someone who works away from his wife for six to seven weeks at a time and books what he thought was going to be a nice romantic weekend together
• Value for money: 5 See room comment...plus breakfast was extra therefore my wife and I had breakfast at a coffe shop next door at approx a sixth of the price

• Location: 10 Within walking distance of the main shopping area but we had to take taxis to museums, gaudi church etc. Although there are a couple of Gaudi buildings on the same road.

• Room: 10 There were 3 of us in one room which was quite tight but we weren%27t in the room much so it didn%27t bother us at all.
• Value for money: 10 The rooms were quite expensive but the hotel was nice, so we felt that we got what we paid for.
