• Cleanliness: 10 The hotel seems to have two parts; an old part and a new part. Both are well-maintained.
• Location: 10 Location could hardly be better.
• Common facilities and services: 10 For the price, it's fine. Rooms have aircon and my room had a small fridge and en-suite.
• Staff: 10 Excellent.
• Quietness: 7.5 It's not bad. If you're particularly sensitive to noise then the usual hotel sounds might be a problem.
• Room: 5 Bang on average. Fine for its price class.
• Value for money: 10

• Quietness: 5 Mi habitación daba para un patio interior así que no se oian ruidos de la calle, lo que si se oia es el ruido de la gente del hostal, aunque eso suele pasar en la mayoria de los sitios.

• Positive: Location, it was clean, it wasn't too noisy on the side away from the street, you could come and go as you pleased. It worked. It was a bed and a bathroom in a great part of town (right around the corner from Opera, just down the street from Sol, and near a bunch of places to eat and shop).
• Negative: It was hard not speaking Spanish, but the woman there clearly communicated that I should come back at a certain time to meet someone who spoke English so it all worked out in the end!
