• Room: 7.5 The room was goog, but I asked for a no-smoking one and they gave me a smoking one. I arrived at about 1 pm and the room was not ready.

• Positive: we were in madrid for a special meeting - we%27ve stayed at the hotel before so familiarity and proximity to where we wanted to go was imporant

• Cleanliness: 2.5 the carpet was absolutely filthy - i left my white trousers on the carpet and they were black with dirt
• Location: 7.5 very close to metro/train/bus stattion at avenida de america which is within a few stops from central madrid and places of interest art galleries etc
• Common facilities and services: 2.5 really no special facilities it%27s more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel.
• Staff: 2.5 the staff are very nice on the face of it but nothing special - they give the impression that they would prefer if you did%27nt ask them for help

• Value for money: 2.5 while we stayed in a suite - really it was just a very big en suite room - nothing special, the bed was%27nt particularly comfortable - the furniture and furnishings are pretty bland and as I said the carpet waas filthy
