• Would you recommend it? Yes
• Positive: This was likely the best hotel I stayed in during 3 weeks of traveling around Europe (France, Italy, Switzerland). The staff (especially the woman who works most evenings) were happy, super helpful, and polite. She quickly answered all of our questions, provided great restaurant recommendations (based on our food interests), provided recommendations for activities in the area and top sights to see. The hotel is conveniently located: short walk from train station, close to canals and lake Annecy, and at the edge of Old Town (shopping, restaurants, etc.).
• Negative: Considering that I was so pleased with this 2 star hotel, I don't think there was anything I didn't like. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to people looking for a conveniently located, budget-friendly hotel with great staff. Accommodations were modest but comfortable and more than I had expected.

• Location: 10 couldn't have picked a more centrally located hotel
• Common facilities and services: 10 breakfast was an additional modest fee but was in a nice room that was well kept and offered quite a few food options...affordable and good wine, beer and snacks were available for purchase through front desk.
• Staff: 10 amazing staff- super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful
• Quietness: 7.5 we had a corner room and there was not noise from within the hotel but if we didn't have the windows shut, there was some noise early in the morning (delivery trucks, etc.)
• Room: 7.5 small but adequate sleeping area and bathroom...the shower was just big enough to stand in but my friend and I are average size people so it worked OK
• Value for money: 10
