• Cleanliness: 10 Our room was squeaky-clean just as the rest of the hotel.
• Location: 10 It is a perfect location - within walking distance to all of the points of interest. The Sol metro station is right in front of the hotel makes getting to the airport, and Atocha and Chamartin stations a breeze.
• Common facilities and services: 10 Free wi-fi, great cafe.
• Staff: 10 Staff was very attentive, courteous and most helpful.
• Quietness: 10 This was incredible - has a balcony overlooking the plaza and when we stepped outside we could hear all the buzzing; but when we closed the door - it was complete silent. I can't say the same for other more expensive hotel
• Room: 10 Our room was well appointed. We had a balcony overlooking the plaza making a lot of fun for people watching..
• Value for money: 10 A definite bargain for the money. We stayed there after walking the Camino France', on top of what was already reasonable rate, we also received a Pilgrim discount for showing our credential :-) A perfect stay after a long walk - literally!

• Positive: The first 3-night stay of our trip was wonderful, the room on the 4th floor was lovely, quiet and the hotel services (including laundry) in general were excellent.
• Negative: The last 1-night stay of our trip was disappointingly mediocre. Our room on the first floor near the elevator appeared to also be where the water pipe was located. Anytime anyone used water we would hear the loud noise of water draining down from the upper floors; this went on all night at all hours. We were also surprised by the charge of 4 Euros for printing on 6 pieces of paper (our boarding pass).

• Positive: Views of the plaza Puert del Sol are superb from the upper floor view rooms. You can watch all the street performers and musicians from your private balcony! When you are done, just close the soundproof windows and all is quiet!
