Hotel Europa: We are one of the most charming hotels in the city. We are an independant hotel providing excellent service and individual kindness. Our hotel is located in the best area in the centre of Madrid: Puerta del Sol sq. We are located on a pedestrian street near cultural, artistic, commercial and entertainment areas of Madrid, so your visit to the Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum, Thyssen Museum, Royal Palace, Mayor Sq., other museums, monuments, theaters, cinemas and shops are within walking distance. The metro, buses and taxis are all available in the Puerta del Sol Sq.

  • Positive: location is excellent, bathroom is spacious and beds are comfortable.
  • Negative: Newspapers were removed from the lobby so I did not have an opportunity to read. Suggest placing a sign in the lobby " please do not remove the newspapers from the livby."

  • Negative: Only one morning if in-room coffee service. That felt like a cheap way to drive coffee drinkers to your restaurant. Very off-putting idea. Please reconsider.

  • Location: 10 Muy céntrico, caminable a casi todo lo que hay que visitar, a pocos minutos de metro, tie das, restoranes, etc.
  • Common facilities and services: 7.5 Si bien es un edificio antiguo, está remodelado y da las comodidades necesarias, como termopanel. Accesos cómodos, para discapacitados también. Muy silencioso.
  • Staff: 10 Todos muy amables.
  • Quietness: 10 A pesar de estar en un sector ultra concurrido, adentro es otro mundo. Silencio casi total.
  • Room: 7.5 Pieza y baño de buen tamaño y cómodos, con los muebles necesarios. Pero las camas son inestables y algo duras y en el baño el calefactor no funciona. Silenciosas y con doble cortina. Sábanas espectaculares.
  • Value for money: 7.5 Debería incluir desayuno por el mismo precio.

  • Positive: La recepción y amabilidad del personal del hotel, luego las instalaciones y limpieza del mismo.
  • Negative: La parte del restaurante, no está a la altura del hotel, ni del trato de sus empleados. ( aclaró, no hubo maltrato ni nada parecido en el bar o restaurante, solo diferencia de calidad )
