• Staff: 5 Everyone with whom I interacted except the night clerk was friendly, helpful, and professional. The night clerk was defensive, surly, and mischaracterized hotel policy.

• Positive: The staff was excellent! They were very helpful and friendly. This is especially true of the bellboy/doorman.
• Negative: The cab driver, who drove a large cab as compared to others, brought us from the airport to the hotel and left a business card for us to call when we were ready to return to the airport. One of the desk clerks (with the shaved head) said that he would call a different cab service rather than the original cab service. The cab service secured by the hotel clerk was late, sent two cabs, and we ended up holding some of our luggage in our laps on the trip to the airport.

• Cleanliness: 10 Bathroom was very clean, and the cleaning person left personal touches for us to enjoy.
• Location: 10 Very close to the Puerta del Sol, Palace, etc.

• Staff: 10 Especially the doorman, the first desk clerk we met on the day we arrived (6/12) and the middle aged desk clerk when we left on 6/14)
• Quietness: 5 Quite a bit of street activity and noise, but we appreciated being in an active location.
• Room: 7.5 Fit our needs.
• Value for money: 7.5 Reasonably priced.
