• Negative: One man in the reception who wasn't very helpful when we needed help and all times answered us " that he didn't know". The neighborhood was a little bit suspect.

• Positive: friendlyness of some of the staff, 24 hour reception
• Negative: 95€ average is not true... we paid €166 average for 3 nights. The promised welcome champagne for anniversary guests never happened (disappointed). The promised quiteness due to double pane windows was a lie (street noise was bad). Showers with construction error, missing curtain or cover got the room all wet. Nobody offered breakfast service, which we didn't happen to book in advance.

• Location: 7.5 close to the promenade, but the walk to Rambla leads thru dark and scary streets, esp. at night
• Common facilities and services: 5 we were never offered any service nor did the room have an overview brochure
• Staff: 5 friendly, but some promises not kept
• Quietness: 2.5 street noise was bad even with "double pane" windows
• Room: 5 little too small for the price
• Value for money: 2.5 below U.S. standards

• Location: 5 when you walk to the ramblas (30 minute walk) you pass next to a street with prostitutes . I found the neighborhood of the hotel was not very smart looking however it was very friendly.

• Quietness: 5 the noise from the underground was quite annoying . Our room was on the 1st floor. Besides we could also hear the noise from the breakfast room when staying in the living room (we had a suite)
• Room: 7.5 the room was quite dark, the window opened on an interior yard . The light had to be on all the time.
