• Positive: Once we were moved on our second day, the rooms was very nice
• Negative: We arrived late in the evening and we're put in a standard twin room even though I had paid to upgrade, I had recieved an email from you at 1am in the morning of our arrival to say you'd tried to take a card payment from me, even though my room was booked on a pay on arrival basis. The lady who dealt with my complaint was very dismissive and although she told me she would look at my reservation when I was finally moved room then did nothing about it and I was charged full rate when we checked out. She also spoke over the top of me refused to listen to what I was saying and someone else stepped in. Not good service

• Cleanliness: 7.5 The bedding was clean as were the towels but the first room we were in their was some mould in the fridge and the laminated flooring should be replaced

• Common facilities and services: 5 The vending machines took your money but didn't vend and the rest of the hotel didn't really have any facilities
• Staff: 2.5 For the one member of staff that was rude I have to mark everyone down which is really disappointing
• Quietness: Not rated We paid for a room which is described as having double glazing, the first room didn't and the noise from outside was horrendous. In the morning as well we were woken by the people in the breakfast area
• Room: 2.5 The initial twin room we were put in was small dark, and dated.
• Value for money: Not rated Not on the first night and I do not believe the €25 refund was sufficient. You spoilt what should have been a fantastic birthday surprise

• Positive: The location and breakfast.
• Negative: Upon checkout, we asked your receptionist if she could please call a taxi for transport to the port to catch our cruise ship. She told us the taxi drivers were on strike. We then inquired about a private shuttle, private car or shuttle...reply was simply "no". 😳 She then told us we could take the city bus. Seriously??!! It was raining, the stop was several blocks away, and we had large suitcases. With absolutely no other option, we drug our luggage down the crowded street in the rain, only to be told by a driver on and people at the bus stop that none of those buses would take us to the port. We then had to drag everything down the street to the port. Once there, it is still an incredibly long way up a huge bridge and down several docks. A taxi driver (working with his meter off) had pity on us and took us the rest of the way for cash. I felt the customer service from the hotel should have been MUCH better. There should surely be help finding customers private transportation when the taxi drivers go on strike....which I hear is often! I feel really sorry for tourists staying further away from the docks or airport...but their hotels most likely helped them find transportation.

• Positive: The excellent location of the hotel, in the heart of tourist area. We liked the special rate for staying nights. Would recommend their Ramblas Room, with facility to make coffee/tea, the balcony and soundproof room. It is a plus to have breakfast included.
• Negative: Other guest had standard room, which was comfortable, but hotel could charge a little more and include coffee/tea making facilityt.
