• Positive: The overall style of the hotel. It is also in a great location for sightseeing in Barcelona. I have stayed here on about ten occasions, mainly on business and absolutely love the place.
• Negative: Only had two days stay on the last visit. Could have done with two weeks here.

• Quietness: 10 Inside very quiet, as with all hotels in central Barcelona if you open the windows it can suffer from traffic noise, that said I don%27t think it is a big deal at all.

• Cleanliness: 10 Maids are exceptional, room was spotless everyday.

• Common facilities and services: 2.5 Unless you bring your own computer, use of the computer in the lobby is too expensive! Should be free like other hotels of this class.
• Staff: Not rated Had an extremely unpleasant check out process with Luis. He has a very bad attitude, spoke down to us and was very rude when asked about the Value Added Tax (VAT). I spoke to the manager on duty at the time and she was very nice, she apologized for Luis, but his behavior and attitude ruined our departure and left us with a bad taste of Barcelona and of the AC Diplomate. On the other hand, a man by the name of Giraldo, also at the front desk is exceptional. He is everthing Luis is not. Luis could learn alot about customer service from Giraldo. Luis should not be working in customer service, he should work in a job where there is absolutely no contact with the public.
• Quietness: Not rated Our room was very quiet for the first five nights, until someone was placed in the room next to us. Either they were very noisy or the walls are very thin.
• Room: 10 Overall, very happy with the room itself.
