• Positive: Gorgeous corner suite on 4th floor with views of the square below. Just a couple blocks to the Palace, cathedral, Plaza Major, etc. About 20 minute walk to the Prado. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Excellent breakfast buffet with a broad selection including sorely missed cafe americano! Competent, pleasant and helpful staff. Appropriate cost for value. Hotel arranged personal taxi in from the airport with the driver meeting us inside the terminal for 37 euros. Return was 30 euros. About 30 minute drive in a newer full sized Mercedes both ways. Will not hesitate to visit here again and will highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Old Madrid. Impeccably clean, spacious, all the expected accoutrements of a luxury property, competent & professional staff, excellent location, breakfast,
