• Cleanliness: Not rated It smelled funny and the Staff would not let us leave until we paid. They blocked the door and wanted our bags. We were forced to pay for 2 nights when we only stayed for 1. Now I have to dispute the charge.
• Location: 2.5 Not hard to find, but nowhere near the city center. It is a safe area if you don´t consider the staff.

• Staff: Not rated Again... Forced to pay for 2 nights when we only stayed for 1 after deciding it was too dirty for us.. ALSO... the guy that runs the place answered the door in a robe to check us in. It was 930am. NOT that early.

• Room: 7.5 Would be a great room if kept up well. A little bit of fungus or something on the shower curtains made for interesting positions.

• Room: 2.5 we asked for a double room. Just got a twin. With the advice of "putting the two beds together". Television not working.
• Value for money: Not rated Frankly. For the same prize we got far better rooms in an other hotel the other day.

• Cleanliness: 2.5 el aspecto en general es bastante lamentable, desde que se entra en recepción.
• Location: 7.5 lo salva la situación céntrica y las comunicaciones, parking, etc..
• Common facilities and services: 2.5 prácticamente no se utilizan, no encienden las luces ni propician su uso.
• Staff: 5 en general correcto
• Quietness: 5 no hay grandes ruidos
• Room: 5 el aspecto deja mucho que desear, sería fácilmente mejorable.

• Location: 10 A block from Gran Via. A short walk to Gran Via Metro stop. Convenient to Puerto del Sol, Palace, etc.

• Staff: 7.5 Very helpful. All speak some English, most very adequate English (much better than my Spanish!)
• Quietness: 5 Some street noise from bars below. Occassional sirens from emergency vehicles on Gran Via
• Room: 7.5 Typical European room - compact but adequate. Nice shower.
• Value for money: 7.5 Location and nice clean room. Good "base camp" for exploring the touristy part of Madrid
