• Negative: website was not updated to notify guests that nearest metro station was closed - that is a very important aspect when you%27re new to a city. also website claims it%27s the only hotel on the puerto del sol; however, i saw at least 2 other hotels/hostels also located there.

• Cleanliness: 10 The room was nice and clean upon arrival and after housekeeping came through each day.
• Location: 10 Right in the heart of the city within walking distance to most places of interest (museums, squares, historical sites, etc.). Only issue is that the directions from the airport via Metro included a station that was closed, so we had to walk 25 mins from the nearest station to get to the hotel.
• Common facilities and services: 5 The one internet capable computer available to the entire hotel was located in the main lobby and limited to 15 mins per room. Luckily, we only used it on off-peak hours. Otherwise, it was pretty busy.
• Staff: 7.5 Most of the staff spoke very good english. Our wakeup call and shuttle was ontime and booked as promised (though the shuttle was quite expensive).
• Quietness: Not rated They placed us in a room right next to the elevator, so people were standing right outside our door at 7am talking and laughing. Because we were leaving early the next morning, changing rooms was not required - if we had stayed longer, I would have demanded a room further from the elevator.
• Room: 7.5 average sized room with a huge marble bathroom and shower. nice small balcony overlooking the cafe and people outside. The towels are pretty thin but it%27s not considered a luxury hotel.
• Value for money: 5 It was overpriced for the size and amenities, but you%27re paying for the location (it%27s the only hotel on the Puerto del Sol).
