• Negative: Being made to wait over an hour for our rooms. We got to the hotel at 2.30pm, but were told our rooms weren%27t ready and we would have to wait about half an hour. We asked if there was a hotel bar where we could sit and wait and have a few drinks and we were told that there was but when we got there, it was closed. Rather rude, unhelpful staff who couldn%27t be bothered to come and serve us from the restaurant bar. Had to wait over a hour for our rooms in the end and were just told if we didn%27t like it, to put our complaint in writing! While we were waiting for our rooms, a coach load of guests arrived and were given rooms instantly. Not sure why that was.

• Cleanliness: 7.5 There was a cigarette butt in our room when we checked in which we weren%27t impressed with! However, rooms were cleaned regularly every day and the communal areas/ pool were also cleaned to a high standard.

• Common facilities and services: 10 Lovely terrace/ pool/ solarium on roof top

• Quietness: 5 Hotel is situated on a very busy road so noise was expected
