The Britannique Hotel is an authentic charming hotel in Paris.   • Negative: Since it was an old building, they used a lot of fragrance and with my allergies, it bothered me.

  • Location: 10 location was in walking distance to the Louvre with nice restaurants nearby.

  • Staff: 10 The staff treated us well and had a good command of English.

  • Room: 5 The room was very small, hit my head on the wall getting out of bed; shower was the best I had in Europe.
  • Value for money: 10 Compared to hotel room in London, this was an excellent price and cheaper than going to an American chain hotel. Also, you got that European flair. I would definitely stay at this hotel again based on it's location and privacy.

  • Common facilities and services: 7.5 Lovely, comfortable guest sitting room. No cafe, but you can get hot drinks there.

  • Room: 7.5 A little small, but average for Paris. My room this time was a bit larger than ones I've had before, with a double, rather than single, bed.
